Iridium 9505A End Of Life
Iridium has announced the End of Life for the 9505A per May1st 2009.
Limited quantities will still be available, and Delta Wave will have a few in stock, as there is still a demand for them.
As this notice has arrived at this late date, if there are projected requirements that speficy 9505A's, please contact us at your earliest convenience, and we will do everything we can to ensure that we can meet your needs in the coming months.
Keep in mind that it is not 100% certain that we can get what we might need.
Also Please keep in mind that you do not need to take all units right away.

BGAN LaunchPad Version 3.9.1 Now Available

BGAN LAUNCHPAD VERSION 3.9.1 FULL INSTALLER FOR WINDOWS XP AND WINDOWS VISTA
We are pleased to inform you that BGAN LaunchPad version 3.9.1 is now available for download from the Inmarsat website at GET IT HERE. You will also be able to download this release through the BGAN LaunchPad Update feature from the 27th April 2009. Please see attached briefing note for more information and installation instructions.
Inmarsat recommends that all customers install this release.

Thrane and Thrane have identified a problem with all Thrane and Thrane BGAN and FleetBroadband that causes User Terminals to attempt to access the Inmarsat network via an incorrect regional beam, resulting in failure to register. Users within the I-4 Asia Pacific region are directly affected and those travelling to I-4 Asia Pacific should also be aware of the need to upgrade.
Please note that no other manufacturer or terminal is affected.
More information on this release can be found in the Technical Bulletin document that is included in the download. This release will be available for download within one week through the LaunchPad update feature.

I would like to advise you of a scheduled outage in the I4-EMEA Satellite region on Tuesday 7th of April. The activity is required to optimise the operation of the Beam Pointing System. The activity will commence at 22:00 UTC and it will cause a small degradation to the EMEA traffic: no new users will be able to connect for up to ten minutes, existing users will be unaffected.
