 Inmarsat Partners Conference Miami

Have been in Miami for the last several days for an Inmarsat Partners Conference. It has been quite interesting indeed

While there have been some interesting developments in the industry, the highlite of this show has been the FB150 Launch.

Equipment is expected to become available commercially around the end of June, and is still considered to be in Beta Test mode

Two manufacturers will offer equipment - Addvalue, and Thrane and Thrane. (We might have an Addvalue FB150 for beta test.)

Equipment pricing should be released soon, and is expected to be in the $5-6000 range, with usage pricing the same as the current FB pricing.

We feel that this will be a vialble alternative to Iridium OpenPort, in form factor, as well as competetive usage pricing.
