Critical Firmware Upgrade for Thrane & Thrane Terminals

Firmware Upgrade Must be Implemented by September 30, 2009

Users of BGAN and FleetBroadband Thrane & Thrane terminals that connect via the Asia-Pacific I4 satellite must ensure that they have the latest firmware upgrades or their equipment will not function properly after September 30.

The terminals affected and the required firmware versions for each are:

BGAN

  • Explorer 700 - ver. 3.01 or above
  • Explorer 300/500 - ver. 3.00
  • Explorer 527 - ver. 3.02
  • Explorer 727 - ver. 1.08 or above
  • Download firmware upgrades here.

FleetBroadband

  • Sailor 250/500 - ver. 1.08 or above
  • Download firmware upgrades here.

Even if you are not located in the Asia-Pacific region, Stratos always recommends upgrading to the latest firmware versions
to ensure that your terminals continue to operate properly.
