Iridium OpenPort®: New pricing to go into effect 1 June 2010
Iridium Postpones Launch of New Pricing Structure Initially planned for
release in May, Iridium will now introduce its new pricing structure for
Iridium OpenPort® on 1 June 2010. The decision to launch the new pricing
structure on 1 June 2010 reflects Iridium’s desire to ensure a smooth
transition for its partners and Iridium OpenPort customers. On behalf of
Iridium, we regret any inconvenience this may cause.
Reminder - New pricing structure As of 1 June 2010 we will offer
significantly lower data pricing for Iridium OpenPort® and new pricing
bundles for both voice and data.
• With the launch of new MB & minute packages, any bundle combination
and speed is now possible to accommodate your needs: 7 data bundles, 5
voice bundles and 4 different speeds.
• Even more attractive pay-as-you-go formula: with significant price
decreases, the pay-as-you-go formula is even more attractive, and
available for all speeds. Monthly fees and activation fees are no longer
applicable.
As of 1 June 2010 significantly lower data pricing for Iridium OpenPort® and new pricing bundles for both voice and data will be made available.
