IsatPhonePro Thumbs Up!
Just tried out the IsatPhone pro again. Am actually impressed with it now. It took a few minutes to lock on to the satellite initially.
However, phone calls went right through and voice quality was pretty clear with no echo effects.
My main concern of not being in direct line of sight with the satellite was alleviated as I walked around our building while holding a conversation. Thumbs up from me!
So far so good...will be testing for another week before we make a large purchase decision for inventory purposes.
For a base retail price of around $599.00 with airtime aslightly lower than Iridium's, this is beginning to look fairly attractive.
